Tarrant County Health & Safety Policy for Tarrant County Buildings & Facilities (March 3, 2021)

Yesterday's Executive Order by County Judge Glen Whitley regarding the wearing of masks in businesses and other establishments DOES NOT affect the Commissioners Court approved County policy of July 7, 2020 which mandates the wearing of masks in all of Tarrant County Buildings & Facilities, until altered by a Commissioner's Court Order.  Simply stated:  All members, staff, and guests must continue to wear masks inside Tarrant County buildings (which includes all TCCU branches) until that order is altered.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Temporary Branch Closures (January 12, 2021)

These 3 TCCU branch locations will be closed for one week on a rotating basis as follows:

  • Arlington Branch - January 19 - January 22
  • Downtown/Admin Branch - January 25 - January 29
  • Hurst Branch - February 1 - February 5

All other branches will be open for business as usual during these times.

Although this is not our preference, we feel the upsurge in COVID-19 cases in our community warrants further protective measures to keep our staff and members safe.

Additional Stimulus Payment (EIP) Information (January 5, 2021)

Second Stimulus Payments Have Been Issued (January 4, 2021)

Direct Deposit stimulus payments began arriving & posting to accounts on 1/1/2021.  The IRS portal to obtain the status of stimulus payments has been reopened.  Click here to find out the status of your payment.

Second  Stimulus/Economic Impact Payments (EIP) Anticipated (December 28, 2020)

To aid families that continue to struggle financially during the COVID-19 pandemic, Congress passed a new $900 billion economic stimulus bill this past Monday. In addition to expanded unemployment benefits and funding to assist renters who face eviction, the bill will issue economic impact payments — also called stimulus checks — of up to $600* to eligible individuals  (*This amount is subject to change as different scenarios have unfolded since the $900 billion stimulus bill was first presented)

The details regarding the second round of stimulus checks, or Economic Impact Payments (EIP), should be finalized soon and the Internal Revenue Service will initiate the payments, by Direct Deposit and by check, as they did with the first round of payments.

If your payment is expected to arrive via Direct Deposit, you can set up an alert in eBanking to notify you when the funds are received.

If you receive a paper check, deposit it into your TCCU account by visiting any TCCU branch location (check branch availability before visiting), any participating Shared Branch, or by using Mobile Deposit on the TCCU Mobile App. Download it today!

Face Mask Requirement Order Extended

The order by Judge Whitley has been extended until Sunday, Februrary 28, 2021, unless extended, modified or terminated earlier by the Tarrant County Judge or the Commissioners Court.

Temporary Branch Closures (November 24, 2020)

With the increase in COVID-19 illnesses and hospitalizations in Tarrant County, and in an effort to keep our members, employees and community safe, we are making temporary changes to our branch operations.  Although we have consistently utilized safety protocols, we feel the upsurge in COVID-19 cases in our community warrants further protective measures to keep our staff and members safe.

We will temporarily close the branches listed below on a two-week rotating basis:

  • Arlington (Sub Courthouse in Arlington)  November 30 - December 11
  • Downtown (Administration Building) December 14 - December 25
  • Hurst (Northeast Courthouse) December 28 - January 8

Our Tarrant Plaza and Lake Worth (Northwest SubCourthouse) branches will remain open, with normal lobby hours.

While this is certainly not our preference, we want to do our part to curtail the community spread and keep our employees and members safe by voluntarily scaling back to ensure continuity of service for the long-term.

If we find that the upsurge of COVID-19 has not improved after these temporary closures, it may become necessary to implement "appointment only" service at our branch locations.

We, of course, will keep you informed of any other changes and will continue to work diligently to keep service disruptions to a minimum.  As always, we thank you for your understanding and for your membership.
